A full size pickup truck is 48” between the wheel wells. The wheel wells limit your ability to safely carry items wider than 48”.

With our BB or HD Series aluminum truck toolbox, your payload area is headboard to tailgate, side wall to side wall above the wheel wells. Our aluminum toolboxes are so tough that you can over load the pickup truck but not over load the toolbox!

We make the CB Series truck tool boxes 40” wide to fit compact and import pickup trucks. The CB Series has the same sturdy construction that enables your smaller pickup truck carry a bigger load.

This 700 pound load is 53” wide. You can not safely carry it in the bed of the truck. It won’t fit between the wheel wells. But, with one of our tool boxes, your payload area is wall to wall.

2200 pounds in an F150

This 53” wide 2200-pound load is no problem carried on a BB96. This is just an illustration. The 2200-pound load exceeds the capacity of the truck. Notice the “low rider look”. Not good for the truck.

2200 pounds on the tool box and you still have free access to all of your tools at belt height. The BB96 shown here has been up graded with T handle locks. The T handles provide a double locking system and really “dress-up” the tool box.
