Gorilla Slide XT-2000 and 4000lbs.
Gorilla Slide 2000XT $999, for 8', 6.5' & 5.5'
The biggest savings the Roller Coaster adds will be in time
savings. But workman's compensation, and personal insurance claims,
not to mention the savings in pain from a strained muscle, or
bruised knees, could add up.
The Gorilla 2000-XT is a heavy-duty, all-aluminum slide-out
cargo tray that is rated to handle up to 2,000 pounds evenly
distributed. We're confident with that rating, because we did some
extreme testing. We placed our 3,680-pound testing block, Big
Bertha, on the XT model. Two big men pushed the slide in and out
until they were so tired they couldn't do it anymore. After the
test, we took Big Bertha apart so we could examine the condition of
the tracks. The results: even after Big Bertha, the 2000-XT worked
fine! Then our boss took it hunting for two weeks. If you knew our
boss, he loves to test our products. He put 2,500 pounds of steel
plate on it and drove it over bumps and through ditches for two
weeks. The guys at camp even helped by throwing a few loads of
firewood on top of that.
Work smart. Be safe. Let the Gorilla Slide do the hard work!
Unlike other manufacturers, we use no plywood in the Roller Coaster. The cargo tray is 1/8th thick, heavy gauge, marine grade aluminum. This is the same material we use on our aluminum boats. Underneath lies the secret of this goliath's strength: The tray glides on sealed roller bearings on our galvanized steel Tee-Bone track system. Safety locks every 10 inches slam into position with the dual Stab Lock locking mechanism. The tray itself is manufactured from heavy gauge 1/8in. aluminum. It's tough as nails and sharp-looking too!
We also have an XT 4000 "Roller Coaster" As with our customer seen below, equipment can get heavy in a hurry. We took the tracks from our rock solid XT2000 "Roller Coaster" and doubled down to make our XT4000. It was simple for us to do and gave our heavy duty customers what they needed. Our customer, Chris, sells high-tec rescue equipment to fire departments and other rescue facilities in the North West. His equipment is very expensive and also heavy. Carrying in the neighborhood of #2500 pounds, it was unpractical for Chris to unpack his whole truck to show his equipment at every stop. As you can see, Chris carries heavy duty cutting and prying equipment to cut cars apart in accidents. He also carries a generator (placed on the back), boxes of tools, 5 gallon containers of fluids, and extra parts for the rescue equipment he sells. So, he decided to try our XT4000 "Roller Coaster". This allowed him to roll his equipment out and pick the pieces he needed to show at the time. The XT4000 fit the bill and proved to be a real time saver; allowing Chris to make a few more stops each day. ![]()
